Muscular dystrophy (Duchenne and Becker)

Muscular dystrophies are genetic conditions characterized by progressive muscle weakness and degeneration (atrophy). Duchenne and Becker muscular dystrophies have similar signs and symptoms and are caused by different mutations in the same gene.
