I start a blog with commentary on two critical studies in spine surgery. On April 14, two randomized trials of Försth et al. and Ghogawala et al. for the results of a comparison of two types of surgery in patients with lumbar stenosis and spondylolisthesis were published in NEJM. The conclusions are definite: do not rush to stabilization!
